Each team needs a venue, which must be a licensed establishment with a dartboard available for all league matches.
Dartboards will be checked (height, oche length etc) at least 1 month before each season, and if any issues are discovered then these must be remedied before the season starts. All throws require a raised oche. No venues may charge entry fees for visiting teams.
Without venues, we have no league, and they should all be respected as such. Complaints from venues will be viewed extremely seriously, and may lead to disciplinary action.
Some venues provide food, some don’t. This website provides details of which do and don’t (as does the Hamburger icon on the calendar), however please remember that it’s not a guarantee – ovens break, and chefs get ill, so you may wish to plan accordingly!
New venues, or changing venue mid-season will require Committee Approval.
